Who is your Orthodontist?

I started my orthodontic journey kind of tragically, when I broke my jaw as a teenager (skateboarding!) My dad was an orthodontist, and he took me to my future dental school for a special x-ray. The oral surgeon saw the crack in the bone and recommended braces as a splint to allow my jaw to heal. Dad wired me up for a few weeks, and I was good. Since then, I have loved the idea that technology can be used to help the body be better and stronger. In dental school I learned the many ways to heal and optimize dental health. I also learned the science of beauty, proportions and symmetry. We made dentures, and I found great satisfaction seeing the smile on my patients faces. I have treated thousands of people from 7-67 years old in the past 30 years, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity and privilege to be of service.
